Space calculator
How much room your things take, counted properly. Everything else on the site hangs off this number.
Open the calculator On this pageTell us what you have and where it is, from Dubai to Ras Al Khaimah. When you are ready, our storage partners quote the job.
Access matters more than distance here. Stairs are what eat the day, and a storage job means climbing them twice: once now, once when you want everything back.
Pick your property size for a quick answer. Listing what you own takes a few minutes and is usually kinder, because the presets assume you have more than most people do.
Our partners will ask all of it anyway. Answering now saves a phone call, and none of it is binding.
Your space estimate is on the right. Leave your details and the job goes to our storage partners with your item list attached, so nobody starts from a blank page. They price it and get back to you within 24 hours.
An estimate of the space your things need, from what you entered. Prices come from our storage partners, who quote once they have seen the job.

VAT is 5%, and a quote that does not show it on its own line is worth querying. Comparing against a price per square foot?
The answers people usually have to ring round for.
Units come in five sizes. The one people picture, a Full, is 2.35 by 1.16 metres and a bit over two metres high, which is 5.7 m³. Expect about 4.85 m³ of belongings into it: a king bed and mattress, a three-seater sofa, a chest of drawers and five medium boxes. The rest is furniture leaving air around itself.
Storage costs turn on the volume, how long for, where you are and how hard the place is to get into. Rent is only part of it: collection, redelivery, stairs and packing are all priced separately, and a cheap headline rate with those left out is not a cheap job. Work out your volume first, then ask. Our partners quote against the real job rather than a guess.
For furniture, electronics, documents, leather or artwork, yes. An uncooled warehouse in Dubai sits above 40°C from May to September. Veneer lifts, glued joints let go, and lithium batteries do not enjoy it either. Ambient storage is cheaper and perfectly sensible for metal, tools, tiles, sealed plastic and garden furniture.
Which units you end up renting, how long you commit to, whether collection and redelivery are in the rate, which emirate you are in, how many stairs there are, whether the warehouse is cooled, and anything you want packed or insured. A headline rate with half of that left out is not the number you will pay.
Multiply square feet by 0.0929 for square metres, then by the stacking height in metres for volume. A 25 sq ft unit at a full 2.4 m is 5.6 m³. Every per square foot price hides a height assumption, so ask what it was before comparing two quotes.
With collected storage, no. The units come to your door, get loaded once, and go back to the warehouse. Self-storage is the other way round: you rent floor space and arrange two van hires yourself. That cost tends to vanish when somebody compares a per square foot rate against a unit rate.
One of our storage partners, not us. We work out the space and pass the job to whoever suits it. They quote it, collect it and hold it, and you deal with them from the point they call.
Most studios need about 8 m³, which is one XL unit and a Mini. A one-bedroom flat comes to around 15 m³, or two XLs. A two-bedroom is closer to 25 m³ and a three-bedroom 35 m³. Those are averages and they run high once you pass two bedrooms, so listing what you actually own usually brings the number down.
Yes. Pick your emirate in the calculator, whether that is Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, Sharjah, Ajman, Umm Al Quwain, Ras Al Khaimah or Fujairah, and the job goes to a partner that covers it. Distance from the warehouse adds to collection and redelivery, so the further out you are, the more those tend to cost.
